Marco Berger
Marco Berger was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and studied film directing at the Universidad del Cine in Buenos Aires. He made his directorial debut while still in college, in 2007. His works have been nominated at some of the biggest festivals in Berlin, Canners, Sundance, Karlovy Vary and more. All his films feature LGBT-themed approaches and conflicts, and his artistic style explores extended silent scenes, focusing on the characters' gestures and looks, rather than dialogue. His work has been praised for its unique combination of homoerotic desire, suspense and dramatic tension.
