documentary 20’ Germany, Kazakhstan 2025
On stage, Ali feels free. Drag is his sanctuary. A space where he can be completely himself and express emotions that words often cannot capture. There, pain transforms into strength, and shame into pride. But while Ali lives and shines, his mother bears the burden of a country that condemns him and a society that ostracizes him. Between hope and fear, she stands by his side-quietly, but unwaveringly.
