Fernando meets his mother at a café every week. Today, he wants to tell her he is getting married. But Ana, living with Alzheimer’s, cannot seem to remember that her son is gay. As the conversation repeats, a question lingers: is she truly forgetting, or choosing not to remember?

Vitória Fallavena

Vitória Fallavena is a Brazilian director, screenwriter, and actress. Her debut short film, I Don’t Know If I’ll Have to Say Everything Again, has screened at over 60 international festivals, including the Festival Internacional del Nuevo Cine Latinoamericano in Havana and the Mill Valley Film Festival, and received an Honorable Mention at the MiX Milano Film Festival. She is currently developing her first feature film, We’re Not Dead Yet, selected for TorinoFilmLab’s Next Feature Film 2026.

Thassilo Weber

Thassilo Weber is a filmmaker and producer living in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. His production company, Filmin, has a history of producing large-scale commercials for brands like L’Oréal, and his short films have been selected for numerous film festivals around the world. I Don’t Know If I’ll Have to Say Everything Again is his first collaboration with Vitória Fallavena, and the pair are developing a second project together.
